Midfielder Casemiro has extended his contract with Real Madrid until 2025, the Spanish giants announced on Friday.

‘The club and Casemiro have agreed to extend the contract, so that the player will remain with us for the next 4 seasons, until June 30, 2025’, Real Madrid said in an official statement.

Casemiro has confirmed his commitment to Real Madrid by signing a contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2025.

‘My home, the place where dreams come true, we will continue to walk here. Hala Madrid,’ Casemiro wrote on his social media after the contract extension.

The Brazilian has been at the club since 2013 where he first appeared on loan, before signing a permanent deal later.

Real Madrid has also recently succeeded in renewing the contracts of Karim Benzema, Fede Valverde and Dani Carvajal.

The defensive midfielder has won four Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu from Sao Paulo in 2013.

He scored 11 goals in 112 official matches and spent a season on loan with Porto.

He was part of the Real Madrid squad that won four Champions League titles in five seasons.

In total, Casemiro won 14 major trophies with Real Madrid, including four Champions League titles, two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey title and three Club World Cup titles.
