Morocco’s national futsal team secured a place in the Africa Cup of Nations final after defeating Egypt 6-0 in Monday’s semifinal at the indoor arena of Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

The Atlas Lions dominated from the opening minutes, maintaining sustained pressure on Egypt’s goal and forcing their opponents to retreat defensively.

Soufiane Chaaraoui opened the scoring for Morocco before Ismail Amzal doubled the lead. Amzal then scored again to give the hosts a 3-0 advantage.

Morocco continued its dominance after the break, with Bilal Bakkali scoring the fourth goal with a powerful strike. Chaaraoui added two more goals to complete his hat trick and seal the 6-0 victory.

Morocco will face Angola in Wednesday’s final after Angola defeated Algeria 3-2 in the other semifinal.

The final is scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday at the indoor arena of Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, where Morocco will seek to claim the continental title.
