Heavy thundershowers accompanied by hail and gusty winds are expected on Sunday in several provinces across the Kingdom, Morocco’s weather authority DGM said in an orange-level weather alert.
Rainfall ranging from 25 to 40 mm is forecast from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the provinces of Figuig, Tinghir, Errachidia, Fez, Sefrou, Khouribga, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Moulay Yacoub, Guercif, Taounate, Taza, Khenifra, Fquih Ben Salah, Boulemane, Al Hoceima, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Meknes, El Hajeb, Ifrane, Midelt, Ouazzane, Settat, Khemisset and El Kelaa des Sraghna.
