Royal Gendarmerie officers in Tlata Loulad, near Khouribga, have arrested one of two suspects in a case involving the repeated sexual abuse of a 13-year-old boy from a vulnerable family in a douar in the M’Garto commune, Settat province.
According to Hespress sources, a medical examination confirmed that the child had been sexually abused several times. Initial findings indicate that two men in their twenties were involved in the case, one of whom is recently married.
The two suspects allegedly gave the child between MAD 10 and MAD 20 after each incident. Authorities arrested one suspect while the Gendarmerie continues to search for the second.
The arrested suspect was brought before the public prosecutor at the Settat Court of Appeal, as the investigation continues to establish the full circumstances of the case and determine legal responsibility.
