Results from Morocco’s legislative election began producing the first constituency results on Wednesday night as counting continued across the country’s local electoral districts.

Preliminary results in the Rhamna constituency show PAM leading with 11,476 votes, with 69% of polling stations counted as of 10 p.m.

According to preliminary results from the Ministry of Interior, Amina Maelainine has secured a seat in the Ain Chock constituency, followed by Abdelhak Chafik of PAM and Chafik Benkirane of RNI, after 65% of the votes were counted.

PAM is leading in the Berkane constituency with 13371 votes, followed by Istiqlal with 8656 votes and RNI with 4614 votes, according to the Ministry of Interior after 65% of the votes were counted.

The Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) says it’s among the leading parties in Boulemane, with 1,599 votes so far in Missour, according to preliminary results.
The party also came fifth in Benslimane so far, behind RNI, PAM, PJD, and the Socialist Union.
PPS says it received 1,992 votes in Sefrou, placing it seventh in the constituency.
In Rabat Challa, PPS ranks eighth, while in Tiznit, the party came fifth, behind RNI, Istiqlal, PAM, and PJD.
In Agadir, after 83% of the votes were counted, PPS ranks sixth, behind PJD, RNI, PAM, the Socialist Union, and Istiqlal.

PAM is leading in Rabat-Challah, with PJD in second place after the preliminary count, according to the municipality.

With 68% of votes counted in the Rabat-Ocean constituency, PAM is currently first with 7,386 votes, followed by PJD with 5,868 and the Left Alliance with 3,487, according to local party sources monitoring the vote count.
The constituency has four seats.

PAM official Salah Eddine Abkari said early results were “very positive” across most constituencies, citing reports from party observers and saying the party was satisfied with the tally sheets it had received.

RNI political bureau member Mohieddine Hajjah said the party is confident of topping the election results, citing five years of work and grassroots presence.
He said authorities were investigating reported electoral violations and stressed the party’s trust in the judiciary. Early turnout figures, he added, were positive.

Abdelali Hamidine, a member of the PJD’s General Secretariat, announced that preliminary results received by the party from several polling stations show PJD leading the election by a significant margin over other parties.Â
The results cover constituencies including Temara, Rabat, Agadir, Inezgane, Taroudant, Fes, Sidi Slimane, Meknes, Casablanca, and Tangier.Â
At one polling station in Temara, the PJD received 139 votes, according to Hamidine, compared with 19 for the second-placed party.
