Morocco’s Interior Ministry has reminded voters of the technical tools available to find their designated polling stations ahead of Wednesday’s parliamentary election.
The ministry said voters can use three methods to check their registration details and polling station information.
The first option is to send a text message containing the voter’s national identity card number to the free number 2727. The voter will receive a reply providing their registration number on the electoral roll, the municipality or district where they are registered, and the number and address of their polling station.
Voters can also access the website dedicated to Morocco’s general electoral rolls and enter their national identity card number along with their date of birth. The service provides the same information about their registration and polling station.
A third option is the MonBV mobile application, which allows voters to enter their national identity card number and date of birth to retrieve their registration number, municipality or district and polling station number and address.
The application also provides the polling station’s geographic location and directions to it, allowing voters to plan their route to the designated station on election day.
Morocco is scheduled to hold parliamentary elections on Sept. 23 to elect members of the House of Representatives.
