Thursday 10 September 2026 - 12:21

Morocco’s upcoming return to its standard legal time on September 20 will bring updated class schedules across the kingdom for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The Ministry of National Education has issued an official memorandum to regional academies, provincial directorates, and school administrators detailing the management of instructional time following the clock change. Under the new guidelines, classes across all educational institutions will officially begin at 8:00 AM starting September 20, 2026.

Educational authorities have been instructed to review and adapt local timetables to guarantee that the required learning volume for each subject is fully met while maintaining a consistent and structured daily schedule for students.
