King Mohammed VI condemned Iranian missile attacks on Jordan and pledged Morocco’s unconditional support for measures to defend the country, according to a Royal Office statement.
In a message to King Abdullah II, the King expressed deep concern over the attacks, describing them as a continuation of Iran’s hostile conduct toward Jordan and Arab Gulf states.
He denounced ” unjustified, criminal aggression” aimed at undermining Jordan’s stability and threatening its people’s safety.
Reaffirming Morocco’s solidarity, the King backed all measures taken by Jordanian authorities to protect national security, stability and citizens.
“Jordan’s security is an integral part of Morocco’s security,” he said in the message, linking the two kingdoms’ security and affirming Morocco’s support for Jordan’s response under King Abdullah’s leadership.
The King also expressed confidence that Jordanians would overcome the consequences of the attacks through their determination, solidarity and composure, under the leadership of their monarch, King Abdullah II.
