Morocco will remain hot across the southeast and the eastern and southern Saharan provinces on Thursday, the General Directorate of Meteorology said.
Dense low clouds are expected along the Atlantic coast and plains during the morning and evening, bringing patches of fog and isolated light rain. Unstable thunderclouds may also produce scattered rain in the Oriental region and along the eastern Mediterranean coast.
Moderate wind gusts are forecast across the northern and central plains, the Atlas Mountains, the Oriental region and the southeast. Stronger gusts could lift dust across the southern provinces.
Minimum temperatures will range from 25°C to 30°C in the Moulouya Valley, the southeast, the far south and southern parts of the Oriental region. Lows of 15°C to 19°C are expected over the Atlas and Rif mountains and northern areas of the southern provinces, with 19°C to 25°C elsewhere.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to rise in the southeast, southern Oriental region, central coastal areas and northwestern parts of the southern provinces.
