Ayyoub Bouaddi’s stock continues to rise. At just 18 years old, the Moroccan international midfielder is now valued at around €80 million, while several of Europe’s biggest clubs are reportedly monitoring his situation.
However, French side Lille appear reluctant to part ways with one of their brightest prospects and are said to be demanding as much as €100 million to sanction a transfer this summer.
According to Turkish transfer journalist Ekrem Konur, Barcelona have joined the list of clubs interested in Bouaddi. Real Madrid are also closely following the Moroccan midfielder, while Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly withdrawn from the race.
Interest from the Premier League appears to be more advanced. Manchester City and Arsenal are both said to be keen on signing Bouaddi during the 2026 summer transfer window, although Lille would prefer to keep the player until at least the summer of 2027.
The same source claims that the Ligue 1 club has set particularly high conditions for any team hoping to secure Bouaddi’s services immediately.
Manchester City have reportedly been informed that a deal completed this summer could require an offer of up to €100 million.
The situation could ultimately benefit Arsenal, which is considering signing Bouaddi before loaning him back to Lille for another season, allowing him to continue his development in Ligue 1 before moving to England.
Such an arrangement would reportedly align more closely with Lille’s plans, as the club hopes to retain the young midfielder until 2027. It could also give Arsenal an advantage over rival suitors, including Manchester City.
Nevertheless, competition for Bouaddi’s signature remains fierce. Alongside the two English clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona are among the European heavyweights keeping a close eye on the Moroccan international’s future.
Bouaddi, regarded as one of Morocco’s most promising young talents, has seen his reputation grow rapidly after breaking into Lille’s first team and attracting interest from several of Europe’s top clubs.
