Moroccan forward Younes El Bahraoui has completed a move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Taawoun, the club announced on Saturday.
The 21-year-old signed a contract until 2029, with an option to extend his stay by an additional season. In a statement shared on its official X account, Al-Taawoun welcomed the young attacker, expressing confidence that he is ready to embrace the challenge and contribute to the club’s ambitions.
El Bahraoui joins the Saudi outfit after an impressive season on loan at Kawkab Marrakech from Renaissance Sportive de Berkane. He scored four goals and registered three assists, performances that attracted interest from several clubs.
A Morocco under-20 international, El Bahraoui is regarded as one of the country’s promising young talents. Known for his pace, mobility and attacking qualities, the forward will now look to continue his development in one of the region’s most competitive leagues.
The move will also see him reunite with fellow Moroccans Abderrazak Hamdallah and Achraf El Mahdioui at Al-Taawoun. The trio will aim to help the club compete for domestic honors and make a strong impression in continental competitions during the 2026–27 season.
The transfer marks another milestone in El Bahraoui’s career as he seeks to establish himself on a bigger stage and continue his rise in professional football.
