On the eve of their Round of 16 fixture against Canada, scheduled for Saturday at Houston Stadium, the Atlas Lions held their final training session in great vibes.
This final practice featured the return of Chadi Riad, who rejoined the squad, giving head coach Mohamed Ouahbi a full roster for this important match.
The session included warm-up exercises with the ball, followed by final tactical adjustments. Players displayed great focus, as well as composure and good spirits, reflecting the confidence within the team.
In statements to the press, the Moroccan internationals expressed their determination ahead of the face-off.
“We know Canada; we’ve faced them before. We’re preparing for this match just like any other. We’re ready to go out and secure the win,” emphasized Soufiane Amrabat, Youssef Belaamri, and Reda Taghnaouti, noting that the team is aware of how important this step is for advancing in the tournament.
Morocco will enter this match with a goal in mind : securing a spot in the quarterfinals.
