Morocco coach Mohamed Ouahbi named an attack-minded starting lineup for the Atlas Lions’ World Cup round-of-32 match against the Netherlands on Monday.
Yassine Bounou starts in goal, with Achraf Hakimi and Noussair Mazraoui included in the defence alongside Diop and Riad.
Neil El Aynaoui and Ayyoub Bouaddi will operate in midfield, with Azzedine Ounahi, Bilal El Khannouss and Brahim Díaz supporting Ismael Saibari in attack.
The full starting lineup is: Bounou, Hakimi, Mazraoui, Diop, Riad, El Aynaoui, Bouaddi, Ounahi, Díaz, El Khannouss and Saibari.
Ouahbi’s selection retains the core of the side that carried Morocco through the group stage, while placing several technically gifted midfielders behind Saibari.
