Moroccan striker, Tawfik Bentayeb has emerged as one of Ligue 2’s standout forwards this season, with 18 goals and three assists placing him at the top of the scoring chart as of March, according to league data.
The 24 year old has played 27 matches for ESTAC Troyes since joining on loan in 2025 from Union Touarga, becoming central to the club’s push for promotion.
Bentayeb, a product of the Mohammed VI Football Academy, has combined consistent scoring with regular minutes, logging nearly 1,900 minutes this season.
His recent goal in a 3-0 win at Saint-Etienne, a long range lob from near midfield, underlined his role in Troyes’ attacking output.
The forward’s season has placed him in contention for Ligue 2 individual honors, as Troyes remain in the promotion race heading into the final stretch of the campaign.
