King Mohammed VI and Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed bilateral ties and regional developments during a phone call, officials said Wednesday.
According to the Emirates News Agency, the two leaders reviewed the “deep-rooted fraternal relations” between their countries and explored ways to expand cooperation, particularly in development sectors, to serve mutual interests.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued consultation and coordination, as well as strengthening joint action in light of regional challenges.
The leaders also exchanged views on a range of regional and international issues, with a focus on developments in the Middle East and their implications for regional and global security, as well as international maritime safety and the global economy.
Morocco and the United Arab Emirates maintain close diplomatic and economic relations, with ongoing cooperation across multiple sectors.
