Morocco’s banking industry group said on Tuesday that all banks in the kingdom would close on Monday, March 23, 2026, for an exceptional holiday marking Eid al Fitr.

In a statement, the Professional Grouping of Banks of Morocco said each bank would be responsible for informing its staff and customers of the exceptional closure.

The group added that banks would continue to ensure the availability of essential banking services through digital channels.

It also said lenders would maintain regular cash supply to automated teller machines and ensure that ATMs remained in proper working order during the closure.
