Mohammed bin Zayed said the United Arab Emirates is “well” and expressed gratitude toward the military and all security institutions for their “honorable role” as Iranian aggression across the region continues.

In statements to the press, the President highlighted national resilience, and praised Emirati citizens for fulfilling their duties admirably and lauded the expatriate community for their “commendable stance.”

“The UAE sets an example, but its skin is tough and its flesh bitter,” Sheikh Mohammed added, emphasizing, “We will protect everyone, residents and citizens alike.”

The United Arab Emirates reported new missile and drone attacks on Saturday as Iran continued its retaliatory strikes across the Gulf.

“UAE air defences are currently responding to incoming missile and drone threats from Iran,” the defence ministry said. “Sounds heard are the result of the Air Defence Systems intercepting missiles and drones.”
