Morocco’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates said Sunday it is closely monitoring security and humanitarian developments in the Middle East and their potential impact on Moroccan citizens living in the region.

In a statement, the ministry urged Moroccans abroad to exercise maximum vigilance, follow all instructions issued by local authorities, and take precautions to ensure their safety amid the ongoing developments.

The ministry has established a central crisis unit and set up dedicated phone lines to assist Moroccans in the affected countries, providing guidance, information, and support as needed.

Morocco’s foreign ministry emphasized its ongoing commitment to safeguarding the interests of citizens abroad and responding promptly to any changes in the security situation to ensure their well-being.
