The Ministry of National Education, Preschool Education, and Sports has informed Regional Academies of Education and Training that it has made the digital platform ‘TelmidTICE’ available to students and teachers in educational institutions where classes were temporarily suspended due to adverse weather conditions, including Pioneer Schools.
This measure is part of efforts to ensure pedagogical continuity during temporary school closures caused by exceptional weather and heavy rainfall, in line with regulations governing distance learning and educational support.
According to the ministry, ‘TelmidTICE’ provides approved digital resources validated by pedagogical inspectors and specialists. The platform uses smart indexing that allows learners to follow lessons in their weekly and chronological order, with easy access across different digital devices. It also includes educational videos fully aligned with the official curriculum.
Teachers access the platform using their professional taalim.ma accounts, while students log in using their Massar codes, ensuring secure access. The platform allows free access to video lessons without internet data charges (zero-rating) via its official website.
The ministry also announced that the ‘TelmidTICE’ mobile application will be launched soon on the Play Store, offering additional access, particularly for Android devices. Regional authorities were instructed to take all necessary measures to ensure effective access and use of the platform and its resources.
