Attijariwafa Bank has been awarded the “top employer” label for 2026 for the fourth consecutive year, according to the Top Employers Institute, as competition for skilled staff intensifies across the financial sector.
The certification recognises the bank’s human resources policies against international benchmarks covering governance, training, workplace conditions and talent development.
The institute said the group met its standards across multiple criteria used to assess how companies manage and retain staff.
In a statement, Attijariwafa Bank said the recognition reflected a long-term strategy focused on skills development, career progression and innovation in human resources, arguing that human capital remains central to sustainable performance.
The group said its approach prioritises training in banking and financial skills, professional mobility, employee wellbeing and the integration of human resources planning into its wider corporate strategy.
With operations spanning several African markets, Attijariwafa Bank positions itself as an employer of choice in a region where banks and financial institutions are competing more aggressively for experienced talent amid digital and regulatory change.
