Morocco’s Ministry of National Education announced that local unified exams for primary and middle schools will be postponed, and continuous assessment exams will be rescheduled because of the Africa Cup of Nations final, set for Sunday.

The ministry moved the exams from January 19-20 to January 20-21, 2026. Continuous assessments will also be rescheduled.

Officials said the change aims to let students take exams under normal conditions and to allow them and their families to follow the widely watched football final.

Detailed guidelines and schedules will be shared with education authorities soon.
