Royal Air Maroc has cancelled flights between Casablanca and Amsterdam after severe winter weather disrupted operations at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, the airline said.
Flights AT850 from Casablanca to Amsterdam and AT851 from Amsterdam to Casablanca were cancelled on Jan. 6 and Jan. 7 due to weather related disruption at Schiphol, according to a notice issued by the airline. Royal Air Maroc said the cancellations were linked to operational constraints at the Dutch airport.
The flights are among 400 flights that were cancelled Tuesday at Schiphol Airport due to persistent snowfall, a spokeswoman for the Amsterdam airport said.
Royal Air Maroc said passengers booked on the affected flights were offered refunds or free rebooking under the airline’s conditions. The carrier did not say whether additional flights on the Morocco Netherlands route could be affected.
