Hamas confirms death of military spokesperson Abu Obaida after months of speculation
The Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, confirmed on Monday the death of their spokesperson, Abu Obaida, in an Israeli airstrike carried out several months ago in Gaza.
In a televised statement broadcast on Al-Aqsa TV, the new Al-Qassam spokesman announced the loss of “the roaring voice and man of words,” revealing that Abu Obaida’s real name was Huthayfa Samir Abdallah al-Kahlout.
