Morocco coach Walid Regragui was ranked seventh worldwide in the annual classification of national team coaches released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
Regragui collected 25 points in the ranking, which evaluates coaches based on their annual performance with national teams.
The placement puts the Morocco coach ahead of several high profile managers and reflects results achieved with the national side in recent international competitions.
The ranking was led by Spain coach Luis de la Fuente, who finished first for the second consecutive year with 136 points. He was followed by Portugal coach Roberto Martinez and Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni, winners of the 2023 and 2022 editions respectively.
