Egypt’s Pyramids FC topped the latest African club rankings released by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS), while Morocco’s RS Berkane placed third on the continent, the organization said.

The rankings cover the period from Dec. 1, 2024, to Nov. 30, 2025, and list the top 20 clubs in Africa based on their performances in domestic and continental competitions.

Pyramids FC led the table with 244 points, followed by Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly in second place with 189.5 points. RS Berkane finished third with 174.75 points, making it the highest-ranked Moroccan club and confirming its strong continental standing after a series of notable African campaigns.

Morocco placed four clubs among the top 20. AS FAR Rabat ranked ninth with 115 points, while Raja Casablanca finished 18th with 75 points. Olympique Safi followed closely in 19th place with 73.75 points.

Egyptian clubs continued to dominate the continental rankings, with four teams included in the top 20, matching Morocco’s representation. Algeria and South Africa each placed three clubs on the list.

The IFFHS rankings are calculated based on clubs’ results in continental and domestic competitions, as well as consistency of performance and overall achievements during the designated period.
