Morocco’s National Radio and Television Company (SNRT) will oversee television production at several stadiums during the Africa Cup of Nations, which the kingdom will host from Dec. 21 through Jan. 18, a Hespress AR source familiar with the arrangements said.

SNRT, through its sports channel Arryadia, will manage broadcast production for matches held at Tangier Grand Stadium, Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, and Rabat’s Moulay Hassan Stadium and Al Barid Stadium, according to the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Matches played at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, along with games at other venues, will be produced under the supervision of international director Laurent Lachen, the source said.

Production at the stadiums in Fez and Agadir is expected to be handled by two foreign companies working in coordination with SNRT.

Media industry sources said the distribution of production responsibilities reflects a shift toward international technical oversight for parts of the tournament, particularly with Lachen overseeing overall match direction, a move that limits the central role traditionally played by Morocco’s public broadcasting hub.

Morocco has designated nine stadiums across six cities to host the continental tournament.

In Rabat, matches will be played at Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex, which seats 69,500 spectators, the adjacent Olympic Stadium with a capacity of 21,000, Al Barid Stadium with 18,000 seats, and Moulay Hassan Stadium, which holds 22,000.

Casablanca will host games at Mohammed V Stadium, with a capacity of 45,000. Agadir will welcome matches at Adrar Stadium, which seats 41,144, while Marrakech will use its Grand Stadium with a capacity of 41,245. Fez’s stadium can accommodate 35,468 spectators, and Tangier Grand Stadium is the largest venue, with a capacity of 75,600.
