Morocco will allocate a total of 1.3 billion dirhams to develop its startup ecosystem as part of the “Morocco Digital 2030” strategy, Digital Transition and Administrative Reform Minister Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni announced on Friday in Casablanca.
Speaking at the closing session of the Digital Now 2025 Forum, the minister said the funding includes 750 million dirhams for venture building programs, 450 million dirhams for venture capital financing, and 70 million dirhams dedicated to the Technopark network.
She noted that new financing mechanisms are being deployed to attract private investment and strengthen entrepreneurial momentum. The combined venture building and Technopark programs aim to support the creation of 1,000 startups by 2026 and 3,000 by 2030.
Seghrouchni also highlighted initiatives to promote digital inclusion in rural areas and develop regional innovation hubs, reaffirming Morocco’s ambition to become a leading regional player in digital innovation, responsible artificial intelligence and future industries.
