Body found with wounds in Errachidia; authorities open investigation

Authorities have opened an investigation after a man’s body bearing visible wounds was discovered Friday morning in the commune of Mlalleb in Morocco’s Errachidia province.

According to preliminary information, the body was found under unclear circumstances. Local gendarmerie units from the Mlalleb post, under the Erfoud company, responded to the scene and launched an inquiry under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.

Investigators are conducting interviews with witnesses and collecting evidence to determine the cause of death and whether it resulted from criminal activity or natural factors.
