The AKASEC club at École 1337 in Khouribga will host the third edition of Cyber Odyssey, one of Morocco’s largest student-led cybersecurity events, from Dec. 3 to 7, the organizers announced.
The event is expected to bring together more than 500 participants from 15 schools and universities, along with national and international experts and companies. The first three days will feature conferences, roundtables and workshops focused on Morocco’s digital security landscape, culminating in a beginner-friendly CTF competition for student teams.
A 24-hour advanced CTF, set for Dec. 6–7, will close the event. The competition will feature two divisions: a student division of 10 teams selected during an October pre-qualification round, and an open division composed of professionals, advanced students and independent cybersecurity specialists. Winners will be honored during a closing ceremony on Dec. 7.
Organizers say the event aims to strengthen Morocco’s cybersecurity talent pool at a time when the country is accelerating its digital transformation and facing rising cyber threats, including ransomware, institutional breaches and economic espionage.
“Cyber Odyssey is more than an event. It’s a mission to prepare the future protectors of Morocco’s digital space,” the AKASEC club said in a statement.
