US real estate giant Remax expanded into North Africa with the creation of Remax Maroc, headquartered in Casablanca, marking the country’s full integration into the company’s global network spanning more than 110 markets.
The franchise will be led by Moroccan entrepreneurs Rachida Khalil and Bilal Dabri, who aim to elevate local real estate standards through the group’s international expertise.
Remax sees Morocco as a promising growth market, supported by rising housing demand, tourism expansion and upcoming global events including the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations and 2030 FIFA World Cup, which are expected to attract major investment.
Building on an existing presence through Remax City in Tangier, the company plans to develop over 100 franchises nationwide and recruit more than 1,000 real estate agents.
Senior Vice President Shawna Gilbert said the expansion will strengthen Remax’s global footprint while offering Moroccan clients and brokers greater visibility and professional support.
