Saturday 27 September 2025 - 18:53

Princess Lalla Meryem, President of the National Union of Women of Morocco (UNFM), has instructed that the treatment and care of Imane, a victim of a brutal assault and disfigurement by her ex-husband in Taza, be fully covered.

Imane has begun a specialized, gradual treatment protocol at a plastic surgery clinic in Rabat to repair the deep damage inflicted on her face. Her recovery will be supported socially and psychologically by social workers from the UNFM’s “Kollouna Ma’ak” (We Are All With You) platform.

Furthermore, the UNFM will mobilize its resources to provide Imane with comprehensive support aimed at ensuring her long-term social and economic integration.
