The Moroccan futsal team will take part in an international FIFA tournament next weekend, organized in Argentina, where they will face local and Chilean teams.
This event is an important step in the preparation of the Atlas Lions, reigning African champions and currently among the best teams worldwide.
Under the leadership of coach Hicham Dguig, the Moroccan team will play two high-level matches 24 hours apart: Saturday against Chile and Sunday against the Argentine world champions.
The Moroccan futsal team, currently ranked 6th worldwide by FIFA, has stood out as one of the most successful teams in the sport. Recent achievements include three consecutive African championship titles and a notable performance at the 2024 World Cup in Uzbekistan, where the team reached the quarterfinals.
