The General Directorate of Meteorology said Saturday’s weather in Morocco will be marked by relatively hot conditions across Tadla, Rehamna, the southeast and the far south.
Low, dense clouds are expected near coastal areas, bringing patches of fog or light drizzle, while unstable clouds over the Atlas Mountains and the far south could trigger showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Winds will be moderate to strong at times along central plains, southern coasts and adjacent shores. Minimum temperatures will range from 20 to 26 degrees Celsius in the southeast, the far south, Souss and plains west of the Atlas, and between 10 and 17 degrees in the Rif, Atlas and eastern high plateaus. Maximums are set to rise in the Saharan provinces, eastern regions, central coasts, Rif and Tangier, while remaining steady or slightly lower elsewhere.
Sea conditions will be calm in the Mediterranean, slight to moderate in the Strait of Gibraltar, and rough between Mehdia and Tarfaya, turning locally strong between Safi and Cap Ghir by evening.
