Morocco’s aerospace industry continues its steady ascent, with exports rising by 8.9 percent in the first half of 2025 to 14.13 billion dirhams, L’Economiste reported.

Data from the Office des Changes show growth driven by assembly components, up 895 million dirhams, and EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems), which advanced by 488 million dirhams.

This trajectory builds on a record 26.4 billion dirhams in exports in 2024, marking a ten-year increase of 244 percent since 2014.

Analysts suggest the sector is on course to set another record by year-end. International trust in Moroccan-made components is such that “every aircraft in the world contains at least one part produced in Morocco,” experts note.

Global players including Airbus, Boeing, Safran, Bombardier and Pratt & Whitney continue to expand partnerships, with Boeing recently backing the creation of five aerospace centers of excellence. The sector now counts over 150 firms and 26,000 jobs, with local integration rates exceeding 40 percent in some segments.
