The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $43 million contract to Sumaria Systems LLC to provide cyber and research support for foreign military partners operating F-16 fighter jets, including Morocco.
The Pentagon said Friday the contract, issued as a sole-source award under the Foreign Military Sales program, will run through Jan. 31, 2026. It covers engineering, research, testing, intelligence, security management and cyber resiliency services for aircraft systems.
Alongside Morocco, the agreement includes support for Pakistan, Iraq, Oman, South Korea, Bahrain, Taiwan, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Singapore, Greece, Jordan, Indonesia, Chile, Argentina and Turkey.
Work will be carried out at several U.S. Air Force bases, including Wright-Patterson in Ohio, Hill in Utah and Eglin in Florida.
The deal is part of the Pentagon’s Cyber Resiliency Program, which aims to ensure military aviation systems and digital infrastructure can withstand cyberattacks and maintain operational readiness even during disruptions.
Morocco is one of the leading operators of F-16s in North Africa and has been upgrading its fleet through advanced military partnerships with the United States, covering training, logistics and technology development.
