The African World Cup 2026 qualifier between Morocco and Niger, scheduled for September 5 at Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, will be played before a sellout crowd, the Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced Wednesday. All tickets have been sold and no additional sales will be released, the organizing committee said.
The federation thanked supporters for their swift response and urged fans to respect organizational measures as Morocco prepares to host major continental and global tournaments in the coming years.
Coach Walid Regragui will hold a press conference Thursday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé to unveil the squad for the Niger match and the following qualifier against Zambia.
Morocco currently leads Group E with 15 points from five wins, ahead of Tanzania on 9 and Zambia on 6. Niger sits fourth with 6 points. Nine African teams will qualify directly for the World Cup.
