French magazine “France Football” today, Thursday, announced the list of 30 players nominated for the Ballon d’Or, which honors the best player in the world. As expected, the list includes Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi, the star of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Hakimi’s nomination follows his impressive performances last season, most recently in the FIFA Club World Cup finals in the United States. His path to winning the award will not be easy, as he faces strong competition from other top players, including from within his own club.
Among the other nominees mentioned are his PSG teammates Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha. They are joined by young Barcelona star Lamine Yamal and Brazilian star Raphinha, who are also in contention for the prestigious award.
