Wydad Casablanca coach Amine Benhachem has left the hospital today, Tuesday, following a car accident described as “dangerous” that occurred yesterday morning, Monday. He had been receiving care at a clinic on the outskirts of Bethesda, Washington.
Sources close to the team indicate that Benhachem sustained a facial injury and two bruises on his leg from the crash. His health has since improved, and after a doctor’s permission, he was able to leave the hospital and rejoin the team’s residence.
Despite his return, it remains uncertain whether Benhachem will lead the Wydad team in their upcoming match against Al Ain next Thursday at Audi Field in Washington. Doctors have advised him to undergo a period of rest, leaving his presence on the sidelines in doubt.
