Three Moroccan national team players — Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, and Ez Abde Ezzalzouli — have helped their clubs reach the finals of Europe’s top three competitions, each delivering standout performances in the semi-finals.

Hakimi Helps PSG Reach First Final Since 2020

Achraf Hakimi and Paris Saint-Germain advanced to the UEFA Champions League final after defeating Arsenal 2-1 in the second leg of their semi-final, completing a double over the English side.

Hakimi scored PSG’s second goal and was named Man of the Match for his commanding display. The Moroccan right-back has now contributed to 8 goals in the Champions League this season — a remarkable tally for a defender.

PSG will now face Inter Milan in the final, as they continue their pursuit of a first-ever Champions League title.

Mazraoui’s Manchester United Crush Bilbao to Reach Europa Final

In the UEFA Europa League, Noussair Mazraoui and Manchester United secured their place in the final with a commanding 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbao, sealing a 7-1 aggregate victory. United fell behind early but bounced back with goals from Mason Mount (2), Casemiro, and Rasmus Højlund.

Mazraoui continued to impress as a defensive anchor and will now prepare for a final showdown against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ez Abde Sends Real Betis to Historic Conference League Final

Ez Abde Ezzalzouli emerged as the hero for Real Betis, scoring the decisive goal in extra time to help his team overcome Fiorentina in the UEFA Conference League semi-final. After a 2-2 draw on the night and 4-3 win on aggregate, Betis reached their first-ever European final in the club’s 118-year history.

Together, the trio’s performances mark a historic moment for Moroccan football — with representatives in all three European finals. The spotlight now turns to June as Hakimi, Mazraoui, and Ez Abde chase continental glory.
