Morocco’s ambassador to Lebanon, M’hamed Grin, held talks in Beirut on Thursday with the Deputy Prime Minister of Lebanon, Tarek Mitri, focusing on issues of common interest and prospects for cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the situation in the region in general, and in Lebanon in particular. Mitri underlined the challenges facing the new Lebanese government, given the high expectations of its citizens in a complex regional and international context.

For his part, Grin highlighted the political, economic and social transformations Morocco has undergone, as well as the Kingdom’s achievements in various fields under the enlightened leadership of King Mohammed VI.
