Morocco’s Oumayma Semlali was named best referee and judge at the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships, held on March 8-16 in Niš, Serbia.
“We are proud of Oumayma Semlali, voted best referee at the Women’s World Boxing Championships. A well-deserved accolade,” the Royal Moroccan Boxing Federation (FRMB) said on its social media platforms.

Her compatriot Hasna Larti won the bronze medal, after qualifying for the semi-finals (75-81 kg category) at the expense of Bulgaria’s Victoriya Kebikava, thanks to a win by RSC.
