Arab leaders warned on Tuesday against any attempts to displace Palestinians from their land, saying they threaten regional peace following an Arab League summit in Cairo.
“Any sinful attempts to displace the Palestinian people or… annex any part of the occupied Palestinian territories would usher the region into a new phase of conflicts and undermine opportunities for stability,” said the final communique of the summit, seen by AFP, adding that such moves would pose “a clear threat to… peace in the Middle East”.
