A delegation of ten of the largest Azerbaijani travel agencies, specializing in outbound tourism, will be visiting Morocco from February 24 to 28 for a familiarization trip.
The Azerbaijani agencies will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Morocco’s tourism offerings, meet local industry professionals, and enrich their travel programs, according to a press release from the Kingdom’s Embassy in Baku.
This initiative, aimed at promoting Morocco as a destination, is part of a “strategic approach supported by a market study conducted by the Embassy with over a hundred Azerbaijani travel agencies and a sample of tourists who have recently visited Morocco,” the press release added.
During an information session held on this occasion, Morocco’s Ambassador to Baku, Adil Embarch, highlighted the richness and diversity of Morocco’s tourism offerings, including cultural, coastal, adventure, wellness, and gastronomic experiences.
He also reviewed the Kingdom’s numerous advantages, emphasizing its millennia-old history, the diversity of its heritage, and the legendary hospitality of Moroccans—elements that make Morocco “a unique and unforgettable destination.”
The participants also had the chance to hear testimonials from international celebrities from the spheres of art, cinema, and fashion, sharing their admiration and memorable experiences from their stays in Morocco, and to taste a selection of Moroccan dishes reflecting the richness and refinement of the Kingdom’s culinary arts.
This initiative is supported by the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and Turkish Airlines.
