Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has officially announced the renewal of Achraf Hakimi’s contract until 2029. The Moroccan international will now earn a net salary of €14 million per season.
Hakimi’s new contract extends his stay for three more years, as his previous deal was set to expire in the summer of 2026. According to Mundo Deportivo, this extension comes with a significant salary increase. Previously earning around €10 million per season, Hakimi will now receive €14 million annually, making him the highest-paid right-back in the world.
PSG praised Hakimi’s impact, with 147 appearances, 17 goals, and 27 assists, making him a global reference in his position. Hakimi expressed his excitement about continuing with PSG, thanking the club’s president, sporting director, and coach. He also spoke of the ideal environment PSG provides, emphasizing his pride in representing the club and contributing to its legacy.
