Morocco prepares to launch unified digital public service portal
Tuesday 4 February 2025 - 19:57

Minister Delegate for Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal Filah Seghrouchni, announced the launch of a unified digital public service portal on February 14. This new platform aims to consolidate, categorize, and simplify citizens’ access to various public services available online, allowing users to access them based on life events.

Seghrouchni explained during her presentation to the Parliamentary Committee on Public Finance and Governance that the launch of this portal would enhance the visibility of national digital public services, helping Morocco improve its ranking in the UN e-Government Index from 113th to 50th globally.

She emphasized that the platform is reliable for users, bringing together all official public websites. It serves as a comprehensive visual interface for government agencies, allowing them to monitor the continuity and quality of online services, as well as to review user feedback and suggestions.

The minister also highlighted that the portal will reduce the time needed to access public services online and minimize the need for citizens to visit multiple government offices. Currently, over 600 public services are available online, including 300 for citizens, more than 200 for businesses, and around 100 for public administrations.

Additionally, the ministry has launched its second campaign to assess the maturity of public service data records, with a 20% improvement noted compared to 2022.
