Global leader in automotive equipment design and manufacturing, Aptiv, has opened a new production facility in Morocco.
Reports indicate that the American company chose the Tangier Tech industrial zone for its new plant, with a total investment of 450 million dirhams.
Spanning approximately six hectares, the project aims to strengthen Aptiv’s presence in Morocco and create over 3,000 jobs once fully operational, up from the 1,000 jobs expected in its initial phase. This expansion aligns with the company’s broader strategy to enhance its manufacturing capabilities and support the growing automotive sector in Morocco.
