Yassine Bounou has won the Saudi Pro League’s best save award for his outstanding performance in the match between Al-Hilal and Al-Fateh on matchday 15. The league confirmed that Bounou made the best save of the round, denying a dangerous shot from Amin Sebai of Al-Fateh.
The Al-Hilal goalkeeper also recorded his second consecutive clean sheet in the Saudi league. Bounou outshone Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Al-Mayouf (Al-Shabab) and Bosnia’s Ibrahim Sehic (Al-Khaleej) for the award.
Since joining Al-Hilal last summer, Bounou has played 21 matches across all competitions, conceding 20 goals and keeping a clean sheet in seven of those games. His contributions helped Al-Hilal secure the Saudi Pro League title, the King’s Cup, and the Diriyah Cup in the Saudi Super Cup twice.
