Moroccan Pension Fund implements tax exemptions, beneficiaries see net increase
Friday 17 January 2025 - 21:22

The Moroccan Pension Fund (CMR) announced the implementation of new tax provisions under the 2025 Finance Act, including adjustments to the income tax schedule, annual family expense deductions, and a 50% income tax exemption for pensions under basic retirement systems.

In a statement provided to Hespress, the fund stated that these changes will result in higher net pension amounts starting January 2025.

The CMR noted that the measure now exempts 94% of beneficiaries of basic retirement pensions managed by the fund from income tax entirely.
