Moroccans 8th highest paid African migrants in the USA

A report by Africa Business Insider ranked Morocco eighth among the top 10 African countries whose nationals earn the highest wages in the United States.

According to U.S. Census Bureau data, Moroccans in the USA earn an average annual income exceeding $69,500. South Africans topped the list with an average household income of around $108,000, followed by Kenyans at over $93,500 and Cameroonians at more than $90,000.

Migrants from some African countries surpass the U.S. median household income of $77,000, the report revealed, emphasizing the mutual benefits of migration and noting that host countries fill labor gaps while origin countries receive vital remittances.
