Palestinian Minister Praises King Mohammed VI's Role in Supporting Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa

The Palestinian Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Mohammad Mustafa Mohamed Najm, praised, on Monday in Ramallah, the prominent role of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee,, in supporting the resilience of the Palestinian people and protecting Islamic holy sites, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

During a meeting with Morocco’s Ambassador to Palestine, Abderrahim Meziane, the Palestinian Minister commended Morocco’s steadfast positions in defending Al-Quds and supporting its population, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The meeting served as an opportunity to explore ways to enhance religious cooperation between the two countries, address various matters of mutual interest, and implement the memorandum of cooperation signed between the two parties.

This memorandum includes provisions for the exchange of expertise in mosque and Quranic school management, the development of media programs for religious awareness, and plans for the administration of preaching and guidance.

On this occasion, the Palestinian Minister emphasized that strengthening religious cooperation with the Kingdom of Morocco reflects the deep bonds of brotherhood between the two nations, noting that sharing expertise and experiences with Morocco’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs will positively impact the development of Palestinian ministry programs, as well as the administration of religious endowments and educational projects.

For his part, Meziane affirmed that cooperation with the State of Palestine holds a priority position in the Kingdom of Morocco’s agenda, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

He further stated that Morocco remains committed to providing continuous support to Palestinian institutions, particularly in the fields of religious education and endowment management.
